چکیده

Kelompok P0 kontrol hewan hanya diberi akuades, sedangkan P1, P2 P3 merupakan kelompok perlakuan ektrak dosis 60, 80 and 100 mg/kgBB/hari. Bahan diberikan secara oral volume 1ml selama 14 hari. Setengah dari digunakan pengamatan parameter testis. Isolasi testis setelah pemberian bahan berakhir. Uji kawin tersisa setiap perlakuan. Hasil menunjukan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan nyata (p>0,05) antara perlakuan, tetapi terjadi (p<0.05) persentase dihasilkan. Berdasar hasil disimpulkan mengalami mg/kgBB Neem leaves contain antifertility compounds that can suppress the ability of reproductive process, both on male female. The purpose this study is to examine ethanolic extract rat fertility through observation in testicular weight, pregnancy ratio, litter size decrease. This experimental using a completely randomized design (CRD), with rats females divided into treatment groups replication each. group control which treated aquadest only; are P2, mg/kgBW/day. given orally 1 ml volume, for consecutive days. A half total animal every were used get weight parameter. Testicular isolation done after treatment. other animals continued mating test. result showed there no significant differences (P>0.05) compared groups, but (P<0,05) percentage conclusion decreased by administration neem at doses 80, days exposure time.

Quantity Discrimination in Domestic Rats, Rattus norvegicus

Quantity discrimination is a basic form of numerical competence where an animal distinguishes which of two amounts is greater in size. Whilst quantity discrimination in rats has been investigated via training paradigms, rats' natural quantity discrimination abilities without explicit training for a desired response have not been explored. This study investigated domestic rats' ability to perfor...

New antitrypanosomal tetranotriterpenoids from Azadirachta indica.

Organic extracts of the leaves of Azadirachta indica A. Juss. yielded ten antitrypanosomal terpenoids. Three of these (1-3), are novel and are derivatives of nimbolide and nimbin. They were extracted from chloroform fraction of methanol extract. These compounds were found to exhibit strong antitrypanosomal activities against Trypanosoma brucei rhodesiense with MIC values ranging of 6.9, 15.6 an...
